YouTube Channel: Flutube100

The ISG has recently created a YouTube channel called Flutube100. It contains a variety of educational video clips about influenza, and was launched to coincide with the commencement of the 2011 flu season.

It's coming back

One of the first productions for Flutube100 is an animation entitled It's coming back that shows how the flu virus is transmitted across the world. You can see the video here: It's coming back

Educational Q&A

There is also a series of educational question and answer video clips that feature three of the ISG's experts in the field of influenza.

Vaccination of healthcare workers

The most recent addition to the Flutube channel is a production entitled Can You Afford the Flu? It features a number of healthcare specialists including Professor Robert Booy (Head of Research, National Centre for Immunisation Research and Surveillance of Vaccine Preventable Diseases), Dr Dominic Dwyer (virologist), and Dr Alan Hampson (Chair of the ISG).
